2. Data Collection on Our Website
Server Log Files
When using the website for informational purposes only—i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information—we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called "server log files"). These are:
- Visited website and time of access
- Amount of data sent in bytes
- Source/reference from which you reached the page
- Browser used and operating system used
- IP address used
Without the processing of this technical data, the provision and use of this website is not possible for technical reasons. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website as well as ensuring IT security (e.g., to investigate misuse or fraud). No transfer or other use of the data takes place. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
User IP addresses are deleted or anonymized after the end of use, so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

In the context of contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is collected. These data are stored and used exclusively for the purpose of answering your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. If your contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the situation in question has been finally clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
4. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
